Convenience of an Online MBA Program

You're busy. And you need a Master of Business Administration to reach your career goals, enrich your personal life and earn more money. In response to degree seekers like you, Boise State University has created an attainable and flexible online MBA program. Designed with working professionals in mind, courses can be accessed anywhere, anytime. MBA + online = total convenience.

An online MBA program is a great choice for students who need to balance school with an existing profession or family commitments.

"Online courses give students the opportunity to plan their study time around the rest of their day, instead of the other way around," says Open Education Database. "Students can study and work when they are at their peak energy, whether that's early morning or late at night. Course material is always accessible online, so there's no need to schedule special trips to a library either."

Recent Boise State graduate Andy Hohwieler earned his MBA online after settling into a job as a commodities trader. When he felt comfortable and confident in his new role, Hohwieler found a program that would fit his life.

"After I got settled in one office and the job and the trading market were a little more familiar and established, I refocused my efforts on school and starting my MBA," he said. "If you're in a good job, you like what you're doing and you don't want to jeopardize or pause or potentially leave a good company, I think this is a good program for that. It was a good outlet to get my degree."

Live in Boulder but Want to Study at Boise? No Problem!

You no longer need to move in order to study at your top-choice school -- the university will come to you. It can be difficult to find a school that offers the courses you need with an affordable tuition. The Princeton Review suggests considering an online MBA if you're drawn to a program far from where you live.

"Studying online means you'll be able to stay where you are, which offers additional flexibility for students with personal or professional commitments," it says. "You'll never miss a class and you won't spend time and money commuting to campus."

Boise State class of 2017 graduate Phillip Teintze lives in Idaho and works in Oregon. Because the MBA program is 100 percent online, it's no problem if you need to log into class from another state.

"I really liked the online degree," said Teintze. "I would encourage people to do it. I liked the flexibility of not having to go anywhere to get classwork done. It was all on my own schedule. It was great."

Let Boise State University show you the convenience of an online MBA. You won't need to miss a day of work and can attend classes during your lunch break, after the kids go to bed, while traveling and any other time you have internet access.
